ABOUT ME
I am, at best, your average cyclist. I grew up a fan of cycling and like most kids spent a huge chunk of my time on a bike. It was only in 2010 in my mid-20's that I got a 'proper' bike - a Cannondale CAAD 8 and properly got the bug. Madness and peer pressure led to a first trip to the French Alps in 2011 with the goal of riding Alpe D'Huez. We did it, I fell in love with the scenery and sense of achievement and have been back most years since. I'm not fast, I'm not particularly fit and I don't have the worlds lightest bike - but I love riding and I love the mountains. That's exactly what this blog is about. I hope you enjoy it!
